1. Monthly Subscription Services

FinBuddy’s online platform is offered on a subscription basis. Subscription fees are billed monthly and range from R99 to R125 per month, depending on the service tier you select. There is no fixed contract term — your subscription runs month-to-month.

You may cancel your subscription at any time by contacting FinBuddy using the details on our Contact Us page, or, where available, through your account settings. Cancellation is subject to 30 days’ written notice, and your subscription fee remains payable until the notice period ends. FinBuddy will confirm your cancellation to you in writing (by email).

 

2. Directly-Provided Services

Where FinBuddy has agreed to provide a service directly (for example, assistance with a judgment removal or credit record correction) and has already begun work on your matter, cancellation is still possible at any stage, but a fee may apply to cover work already completed. This is explained in full in our Return / Refund Policy above.

 

3. Web, Vehicle, and Other Non-Regulated Products

FinBuddy also facilitates certain web-based products, including vehicle-related products, and other non-regulated products. These products carry their own separate agreement, and the specific cancellation terms for each are set out in that product’s own documentation, which is provided to you before you take up the product.

 

4. Cancelling a Referred Product or Service

Where you have taken up a product through a BuddyCentral Group company or external partner referred to you by FinBuddy (for example, a loan, insurance policy, funeral cover, or debt review), cancellation of that specific product is governed by the terms and conditions of that provider, and any statutory cooling-off or cancellation rights that apply to it. FinBuddy will assist you in directing your cancellation request to the correct provider.

 

5. Effect of Cancellation

Cancelling your FinBuddy subscription does not automatically cancel any other product you have taken up — whether a directly-provided service, a web/vehicle product, or a product from a BuddyCentral Group company or external partner. Each must be cancelled separately, on the terms that apply to it.
